Range: | Redland 49 |
Redland 49 Concrete Tiles have defined the rooftops of London and the South East for decades. This is largely due to its iconic design and incredible durability, made possible by its unique camber. The Redland 49 roof tiles are also available in a variety of finishes and colours, including a smooth and granulated option.
These roof tiles are suitable on pitches between 17.5° and 90°. As your pitch increases or decreases, you will need to ensure you have an appropriate headlap of up to 125mm. Having been vigorously tested under extreme wind and rain conditions, however, you can be assured that your roof will be weathertight whether it has a lower or higher pitch.
The Redland 49 Concrete Tile also complies with various British Standards, providing further assurance of their quality. It is because of this that they are extensively used on both residential and commercial properties.
Installation of the Redland 49 Concrete Tile is also easy, largely thanks to each tile interlocking. These Redland roof tiles are also laid in a straight bond pattern and hung on their nibs. A wide range of accompanying fixings and flashings are also available, allowing you to get a secure and clean finish.
Redland 49 Concrete Tile – Smooth
Smooth Redland 49 Concrete Tiles can be seen on thousands of properties, including many across the South East. These combine the unique camber of this Redland tile with a smooth, vibrant finish. What’s more, when choosing from the smooth range you have a choice of six iconic colours. These include Slate Grey, Terracotta, Tudor Brown, Farmhouse Red, Breckland Brown and a coated Rustic Red.
The smooth Redland 49 is perfect for pitches as low as 17.5° with a 100mm headlap. These tiles can also be fitted on roofs with a pitch of up to 90°, where a reduced headlap is necessary. Similarly to the granular variety of these tiles, these roof tiles have a maximum headlap of 125mm.
For further information on gauge and batten spacing, overall coverage and weight per square meter of the smooth 49 Concrete Tiles, please refer to the technical data and installation guide.
Redland 49 Concrete Tile – Granular     Â
Granular Redland 49 Concrete Tiles bring together a unique finish with the iconic camber of the Redland 49 roof tiles. The granular variety of this Redland tile is available in Brown and Antique Red, both of which are gentle yet vibrant colour options.
The granular Redland 49 is suitable on pitches as low as 22.5° with a 100mm headlap. They can also be safely fitted on properties with a roof pitch of up to 90°, although alterations to the headlap will be required. Much like the smooth option, this Redland tile has a maximum lead lap of 125mm.
